در ساختار این نوع از کابل ها، ترکیبی از کابل مخابرات نوری و کابل های قدرت و یا تلفن به کار گرفته شده و دارای کاربردهای خاص از قبیل CCTV، سیستم های کنترلی راه آهن و... می باشد. این کابل دارای یک نوار محافظ استیل دندان اره ای ( کروگیت) یا سیم فولادی (SWA) با روکش پلیمری برای مقاومت در برابر استرس های محیطی می باشد. برای ایجاد کردن مقاومت کششی بیشتر بعضا از نخ مایلا استفاده می شود. روکش بیرونی در این نوع از کابل بر اساس نوع کاربرد و درخواست مشتری HDPE یا LSZH می باشد.
